Marche: one of Italy’s richest regions regarding cultural heritage
Marche is a widespread museum, a network of art cities and historic villages nestled in a myriad of cultivated hills, where masterpieces by Raffaello, Piero della Francesca and Lorenzo Lotto, Rubens and Tiziano are preserved as well as theaters, Roman streets and shops .

Here art and culture are a given: it is a lifestyle, a modus operandi, which is part of the regional economic fabric. Discover with us what to see in Marche: here’s what you can't miss.
From Marche’s Archaeological Museum in the center of Ancona, where you can closely admire the relics dating back to Roman and Piceno archeology at the Antiquarium Statale (Public Antiquarium) of Numana on the Conero Riviera. The third is Casa Rossini in Pesaro. A must for all who love classical music and those who are curious about the famous composer.

In the south of Marche are other museums to visit. Polo Museale Palazzo dei Priori in Fermo hosts important paintings, while we recommend Museo Malacologico (Malacological Museum) in Cupra Marittima for the over 900 thousand exhibits on display.
